Q:
Which photos will look the best?
A: Close ups reproduce the
best. We also find that horizontal photos are usually better as well.
Vertical photos will be either cropped to horizontal, or panned from bottom
to top. You can send us photos of any size, black and white or color.
Q:
Do I need to put them in any particular order for you?
A: Yes you do. Number the
photos carefully on the back with a pen and arrange them in the order
you wish them to appear. If you have larger photos, slides or films that
you wish to include, use a piece of paper taped to the item in the correct
order.
Q:
Can I have Captions?
A: Yes you certainly can.
There is a $5.00 charge for each caption. Usually people like to start
and finish with a title such as "A time to remember".
Q:
How many photos will I need?
A: Generally images are
displayed for 5 to 6 seconds, so we find that about 100 photos results
in about a 10 minute video, 200 photos about 20 minutes and so on.
Q:
What about music?
A: We have a large selection
of music, (view list here),
that you can choose from, or for an extra charge of $10.00 per song, you
can provide your own music selections on CD for us to use. A 10 minute
presentation of 100 photos commonly has 3 or 4 songs. If possible, we
recommend a change of tempo amongst the selections, fast-slow fast etc.
Q:
Can I combine slides and photos or old 8mm film or modern video in my
presentation?
A: Yes, at Video Production
Victoria, we can accommodate any of the above formats.
Q:
Are the DVDs that you burn compatible with my DVD player?
A: The DVDs that we create
are burned on DVD-R media, which is compatible with the vast majority
of home DVD players. To check compatibility for your specific player,
visit: www.apple.com/dvd/compatibility
or www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php.
If you would like, we are able to include a free copy on VHS in addition
to your DVD.
Q:
How long will it take to produce my presentation?
A: We find that generally
it will take between 10 and 14 days studio time to complete your project,
depending of course on how may photos etc that you wish to use.
Q:
What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, cheque
and Visa. Please keep in mind that at commencement of order, a non-refundable
deposit is required. |
